Gastropoda said...: I definitely don't want to cause an international incident, either, just thought your post was exquisite enough to share (it was like what we might once have read in a magazine before they discovered focus groups and reader surveys to blanderize all content). I did like how you put a good spin on it all because you really did get something out of the exertions, which is why I love to give parties (whether anyone shows up or not). And you are brave to put the miscues out on public display. All of us have been there at some point or other.
