When tamales collide
Who knew New Orleans was a hotbed of what I grew up eating in Arizona? Be interesting to see how the real deal evolves there with immigration.

Aside from the 2,751 killed
9/11 provided Tribeca with a dining correction, too. This at least was better than the trend stew, but you do wonder where editors big (judgment) and small (poor boys?) were.

Nothin' personal
but I had a similar backwash of annoyance on reading this bizarreness. The orange flower water is as essential as Angostura bitters are to a proper rum punch. And agave? Get outta here.

Only cake, but stomach-turning
As bad as it looked at the time, what we didn't know was even worse. The whole excerpt is even more sickening. Can turds blossom in hell?
